Toyota RAV4 Trim Levels
As with all other Toyota models, the popular RAV4 can easily be adjusted to your lifestyle near the Worcester, Auburn, and Shrewsbury areas. The versatile SUV not only comes with various engines to alter performance, but numerous trim levels which change everything from style to technology. A rundown of the 2021 Toyota RAV4 trim levels is what we’ll be getting into in this overview. At Harr Toyota, we have each trim of the SUV in stock. So if you’re looking through our online inventory wondering which trim is right for you, the following will be handy!
In total, there are 11 trims for the 2021 Toyota RAV4. Interspersed between the lineup are the hybrid trims for those seeking high-end fuel economy.
The LE trim is standard for 2021 and comes with a 2.5L 4-cylinder motor making 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. You can swap between various drive modes depending on road conditions, too. The modes include Sport, ECO, and Normal.
The LE Hybrid is the first trim to introduce the hybrid engine. This hybrid is more efficient than the non-hybrid 2.5L and still delivers 219 combined system net horsepower.
The hybrid also uses an Electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission as opposed to the 8-speed automatic in the non-hybrid RAV4 trims.
The XLE receives some exterior enhancements and ample safety technology. The integrated fog lights are a nice touch, for example. You’ll also have access to Blind Spot Monitoring and a Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system.
Further exterior flourishes are added to the XLE Hybrid. Perhaps the most standout inclusion is the LED projector-beam headlights with chrome bezels, Automatic High Beams, and an auto on/off feature.
XLE Premium/XLE Hybrid Premium
The XLE Premium and XLE Hybrid Premium share similar feature lists outside of the engine. Both receive a power-tilt slide moonroof and for the interior, the pair of trims showcase SofTex®-trimmed seats plus a power-adjustable driver’s seat with available two-position memory function.
The Adventure trim begins to ramp up the off-roading capabilities of the 2021 Toyota RAV4. So if you like to travel through wilderness trails on the weekends, you’ll appreciate the Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive arrangement of this SUV.
The rowdiest of the Toyota RAV4 trims is likely the TRD Off-Road. Equipped with a TRD-tuned independent MacPherson strut front suspension with a stabilizer bar and a multi-link rear suspension, this trim can shuttle you across a variety of difficult terrains.
If you want to pair head-tuning good looks with your hybrid motor, the XSE Hybrid makes a compelling case thanks to the two-tone exterior color and 18-inch, 5-spoke black-painted alloy wheels.
Limited and Limited Hybrid
Choosing the fully-loaded version of the Toyota RAV4 in either hybrid or non-hybrid form gives you access to a luxurious and tech-heavy cabin. A few of the features included are a Premium Audio system with 11 JBL® speakers, Amazon Alexa compatibility, plus Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
