Toyota Camry Hybrid Maintenance Schedule
Keeping a car in good condition over the long haul requires certain services. Which types of services are we talking about? And when should these services occur? These are the important questions many drivers around Auburn, Worcester, and Shrewsbury, MA, ask themselves. At Harr Toyota, we believe it’s our responsibility to provide the answers. So, the following is a Toyota Camry Hybrid maintenance schedule.
While not touching on every single service your Camry might need because certain procedures will be specific to your driving lifestyle, this schedule serves as a worthwhile overview of your sedan’s basic maintenance needs!
Every 5,000 Miles or 6 Months
If you drive off the lot in your brand-new Toyota Camry Hybrid, the first required maintenance visit will occur after 5,000 miles or six months. There are quite a few procedures to expect at this point.
For example, we’ll look at various fluid levels in your Camry, including the motor oil. Depending on how worn the motor oil is, it may need to be replaced. The tires will also be rotated at this time to ensure they’ll wear evenly over the long run.
Other parts of your Camry that will be inspected at this time includes:
- Wiper blades
- Brake linings and drums
- Brake pads and discs
Every 15,000 Miles or 18 Months
The same round of services described in the previous section will take place at this point in time. However, there’s one specific procedure worth mentioning here: the re-torque of the propeller shaft bolt. This particular service is only necessary for all-wheel drive versions of your Toyota Camry Hybrid.
Every 30,000 Miles or 36 Months
Once you cross the 30,000-mile threshold or have owned your Toyota Camry Hybrid for three years, there are a few new services that will be performed. Replacement of the cabin air filter and the engine air filter are at the top of the list. There’s also a host of additional inspections to ensure the lasting reliability and performance of your model. Parts inspected at this point will include:
- Automatic transmission fluid cooler hoses and connections
- Ball joints and dust covers
- Exhaust pipes and mountings
- Steering gear
Every 60,000 Miles or 72 Months
Crossing the 60,000-mile marker is a big deal, as your Toyota Camry Hybrid has been with you and your family for quite a while. To ensure it continues as your reliable, everyday sedan, the spark plugs will be replaced at this point. Another round of extensive inspections will also occur:
- Inspection of the drive belts
- Inspection of the radiator and condenser
- Inspection of the automatic transmission fluid cooler hoses and connections
