There are different layers of technology you can enjoy within the cabin of the 2021 Toyota Highlander. Moving up to certain trims will give you access to unique features; however, you don’t have to look past the standard trim to enjoy:

If you’re keen on the latest technology and want as much of it as possible, your Highlander can tout available features, like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an 11-speaker JBL® sound system, and Amazon Alexa compatibility.

The Toyota Highlander interior is such a pleasant space because Toyota didn’t skimp on any details. For example, some available features you can enjoy include ornamental dash trim and faux wood door trim, ambient interior lighting, a 7-inch LCD Multi-Information Display, a heated steering wheel, and a leather-trimmed shift knob.

The front seats may be more accurately described as thrones considering they offer leather-trimming, heating and ventilation, power adjustability, power lumbar support, and seat memory function. You can opt to have the second-row seats heated, too.

Certain trims really liven up the color schemes as well. The 2-tone XSE interior features available red and black leather-trimmed seats with red accent stitching. The Glazed Caramel leather-trimmed seats are another option that come with the Platinum Hybrid trim.

The 2021 Toyota Highlander can seat either seven or eight passengers. Maximum passenger volume reaches a generous 141.3 cubic feet. There are also ample cargo capacities:

The rows themselves are designed to accommodate any body type. The legroom in the front measures 42 inches, in the middle it’s 41 inches, and the rear receives 27.7 inches.
